Route Description

A walk that's relaxing and bracing. Beaches with a lovely lazy feel, refreshing open clifftops, the timelessly delightful village of Ringmore tucked away, and enough 'up-and-down' to get the circulation going. The South Devon AONB Service have produced a leaflet for this walk giving directions, along with information on the wildlife, geology and history of the area, which you can download here.

At the start and finish of the walk, the award winning Venus Cafe, overlooking Bigbury Beach serves food sourced from local and organic producers. Midway along the route you can also get a range of local food and real ales from the Journey's End Inn, in Ringmore.
