The Perfect Westcountry Walking Holiday

There are some fantastic walks on offer in the Westcountry, particularly along the coastline, as you can see from the many photos of beautiful locations on this website.

All this and more is what makes walking the South West Coast Path such a great way to spend your holiday. It really can take you to some amazing places, some of which can only be reached on foot.

The easiest way to book a short holiday is to stay in one place, and do a series of day walks. You’ll find details of hundreds of these walks on the website, so you’re sure to find something that suits you – use the walk finder tool or click on any of the photos in the galleries at the top of any page. Once you’ve found a walk you want to do, you’ll find a link which will bring up details of a wide range of nearby places to stay.

Alternatively if you’d like to walk a longer stretch of the Coast Path stopping in a different place each night, we’ve a range of suggested short itineraries that start and finish at places where it’s easy to get to. You can find these by clicking the buttons on the right.

To collate information from the pages you like, click on ‘Add to my Itinerary’ and they will be saved so that you can come back to them later, or share them with friends by email or through social media.
