Simon Kilbee  (30/12/2007)

This was the first time that we followed a circular route that I had obtained from this website, taking in the coast around Dartmouth and returning to the car. We parked on the road above Dartmouth Castle and set off on our journey armed with our new Christmas present and valuable addition to the family. No not a dog, but a digital camera! The weather was a little cold but quite clear.

There were lots of groups of people walking today that made the event part of something bigger. It's great to see people taking in our beautiful countryside. We also acquired some cabbage - at some stage seeds must have blown off the land and down the cliff, so along one part of the walk there was ’wild’ cabbage growing everywhere. We also saw a llama at Little Dartmouth farm. The best bit was getting muddy on the journey back to the car!
