Landslip at Jennycliff and map

Plymouth: Jennycliff

There has been a landslide on the SWCP between Jennycliff and Bovisand on the eastern edge of Plymouth. Although the initial rock slide above the path has now been cleared, the cliff above the path has not yet stabilised and further rocks have fallen onto and past the path. To avoid the risk of walkers being struck by these falling rocks the path has been closed, and the cliff is being regularly monitored. Whilst the path is closed walkers have to follow the Staddon Road which runs immediately above the path. Please take care as this section of the road has no footway.
