‘There are various maps to choose from that can help guide your walk along the South West Coast Path. These include Ordnance Survey Landranger and Explorer maps. There are 17 Explorer maps in total that cover the length of the South West Coast Path.
Harvey’s maps cover the entire Coast Path in six sections and various mapping software is also available.

Ordnance Survey

The route of the South West Coast Path is shown on Ordnance Survey Landranger maps at 1:50,000 and in much more detail on their Explorer Maps at 1:25,000.

Both are widely available in the UK or can be ordered from bookshops or online (if you order using the links below, at least 5% of the price or anything else you buy from Amazon in the next 24 hours is donated to the South West Coast Path Association's path improvement fund).

Harvey Maps

This company has created six sheets of strip maps covering mapped the entire Coast Path at 1:40,000, with a RRP of £9.95 each. Each map covers an area suitable for eight to nine days walking. They can be ordered online using the links below.

Souvenir Map

A double sided souvenir map has been produced by graphic designer Christopher Reading, who’s walking the entire length of the 630 mile path in stages. The design incorporates stunning images from the annual South West Coast Path Team’s photographic competition as a great reminder of some of the fantastic scenery encountered on the coast, and an inspiration to complete any missing sections. It’s intended to be used as a poster to be displayed on your wall, and as a way of planning and recording your progress around the entire path. Each purchase will also benefit the Coast Path, as all profits from the £6.50 sale price (inc. P&P) goes towards path improvement projects. It can be ordered from the South West Coast Path Association's webshop.

Mapping Software

The following package of digital Ordnance Survey maps cover the entire South West Coast Path. It can be used to plan routes, print customised map extracts, program GPS units, view 3d versions of the maps and much more.
